We’re Ashley & Adam Griffin-Bissonnette, and along with our three adventurous boys, we made the leap to beautiful Central Argyle, Nova Scotia in the summer of 2023. Nestled in our charming 160+ year-old home, we’ve brought a long-held dream to life: creating a cozy little bookshop where everyone feels right at home.

This beloved quote has always spoken to Ashley's heart, and as a lifelong Tolkien fan and wandering soul, it felt only fitting to name our haven

Our shop is now open Wednesday to Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and we’re still popping up at farmers’ markets in the surrounding areas — so be sure to come say hello!
