La dame blanche de l’Île-du-Prince-Édouard

A peine remis de leur enquête sur la créature de la Petitcodiac, les Trois Mousquetaires mettent le cap sur l'Ile-du-Prince-Edouard… pour des vacances tranquilles?? Pas exactement. Au Site patrimonial Green Gables, une pierre tombale disparait. Dans la Forêt hantée, une étrange silhouette blanche est aperçue. Et bientôt, plusieurs bénévoles tombent malades… Puis, un précieux manuscrit de Lucy Maud Montgomery refait surface… avant de disparaitre à son tour. Très vite, les évènements prennent une tournure inquiétante. Avec l'aide de Josianne «?de la maison aux pignons verts?», une jeune guide aussi bavarde qu'intrépide, Gabriel, Ania et Mamadou devront démêler une énigme où les apparences sont trompeuses… … et où même les fantômes pourraient mentir.

While visiting the region that inspired the novel Anne of Green Gables, the Three Musketeers glimpse the figure of a woman in old-fashioned dress. Could it be the ghost of the author Lucy Maud Montgomery, whose gravestone has recently vanished? Could this apparition be linked to one of Montgomery’s final manuscripts, which has been missing for almost a century? It’s enough to convince the three young detectives and their new friend, an actress in La cuisine à Mémé at the Mont-Carmel, to embark on an exciting, and sometimes even troubling, adventure.
